Werewolf and fated-mate dramas on ReelShort: the 12 we found, ranked by views
Fated-mate dramas run on the same engine: a woman is rejected, sold or cast out, and the most powerful wolf in the room turns out to be bound to her. Our October 2, 2026 count of ReelShort turned up 12 of them. Two are established live-action hits with over 100 million views each. The other ten arrived in the last four weeks, and nine of them are AI-made.

Where to start
If you want the proven hits: Rejected Luna Is the Alpha Queen and Mistaken as His Mate have over 100 million views each, and Mistaken as His Mate gives you 15 free episodes, the most on this list.
If you want something short: Slimmed Down, My Wolf Crush Recognized Me is 30 episodes. Only 5 are free, but you won’t be paying for long.
If you want to watch a lot for free: I Don’t Need No Alpha Brothers gives you 14 free episodes out of 62.
Think twice about: Becoming the Heirless Dragon King’s Fated Mate. It’s 109 episodes with only 7 free, the longest paywalled run in this genre.
Why so many new ones?
Nine of these twelve dramas came out in September 2026 alone, and eight of those nine are AI-made. One more arrived on October 1. Werewolf stories need forests, moonlit transformations and crowds of pack members, which are expensive to film and cheap to generate. Expect this genre to keep growing fastest.
Method: dramas tagged or titled with Alpha, Luna, mate, wolf or lycan, taken from ReelShort’s public pages on October 2, 2026. View counts, episodes, free episodes and AI labels come from each drama’s page.
